Pricing
15% for early artists, and only when something sells
The standard rate is 30%, lower than the 40-50% most physical galleries take, and we never take a cut of your shipping.
To list your work
No per-listing fees, list as much as you like

Your profile is free to maintain, always
Any artist who joins us while we’re still getting established. The 15% rate belongs to this group and is held for the life of your account, with nothing asked in return. It stays the same when we later open to other artists at the standard rate.
Further down the line, a few artists who want to be more involved may be invited to become partner artists, at an even lower rate, in return for helping out as the platform grows. It’s a separate and entirely optional arrangement. If you’d like to learn more, reach out at support@surfaced.art.

Your shop
Every piece gets its own listing page with photos, dimensions, price, and shipping info. Category browsing and search bring people to your work.
Payments
Stripe handles checkout, sales tax, and payouts to your bank. You’re paid after the buyer receives the work.
Shipping
You set a flat shipping rate for each piece. The buyer pays it separately, and we never take a cut of it.
Customer support
We handle the back-and-forth so you can stay in the studio. No need to worry about buyer questions, return requests, or any other disputes.
Your links stay visible
Your Instagram, personal website, or wherever else you showcase your work, all on your profile, right where visitors can find it.
No exclusivity
Sell here, at galleries, or from your studio. We never ask you to list exclusively with us.
